Babin MNE Outstanding Educator Award
Bruce Babin, Assistant Professor, was awarded the MNE Outstanding Educator Award for 2004-2005.

Bruce Babin, Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, was awarded the MNE Outstanding Educator Award for 2004-2005. Babin has taught Thermodynamics I, Heat Transfer and Intermediate Heat Transfer.
Babin was nominated through student teacher evaluations and senior exit interviews. Comments from the students included, “Great teacher, knowledgeable, and he wants students to succeed.”
“Dr. Babin is a gifted professor who is able to present difficult technical subjects in a simple and understandable way to students,” Mohammad Hosni, MNE Professor and Department Head said. “I thank him for his outstanding teaching and mentoring of our students and congratulate him for this well-deserved recognition.”
Before coming to K-State, he worked as a Thermal Analyst for Raytheon Missile Systems. Babin received his B.S. and M.S degrees from Texas A&M University, and his Ph.D. degree from University of Arizona.
