MNE Department Awards Graduate Travel Grants

The MNE department is pleased to announce the awarding of travel grants to the following students.

 

Jaspen Pautenaude was awarded $500 to attend the American Control Conference in Seattle, Washington this June. He will be presenting the paper, “Improvements in Direct Lyapunov Stabilization of Underactuated, Mechanical System.” It was written by Warren White, Mikil Foss, Jaspen Patenaude and Xin Guo.

 

Justin Lowrey and Kyle Loschke were each awarded $750 to attend the 7th International Topical Meeting on Industrial Radiation and Radioisotope Measurement Applications (IRRMA). The conference will be held this June in Prague, Czech Republic. Both students will be presenting papers over their research with Dr. Bill Dunn.

 

To be considered for a departmental travel grants, students must submit an application and their resume. Applications are then reviewed and selected by the MNE Graduate Committee.
