The files you will receive are compressed.  Perform the following steps:

1. Create a Casca directory.

2. Put the appropriate casca.Z and the castofranc.Z files in that directory.

3. In that directory, type "uncompress *".
   
4. To run Casca, go to the Casca directory and type the appropriate casca name.
   To continue, follow the user's manual instructions.  
   
   Castofranc is a translator from Casca output to Franc2DL input.
